My name is Kevin Austin and I LOVE the Christian Music Festival scene.  As a youth leader in our church for the past 10 years, I have found the wealth of really good Christian music to be a valuable tool.  I've also become a big fan of the music … all types from the Newsboys to Toby Mac to Mark Schultz to Superchic(k) to Relient K to Skillet to Audio Adrenaline to FFH.
     Live music is always more powerful than recorded music … the festivals give you dozens of concerts to see.  The artists are accessible and interested in interacting with people.  What a thrill to get to talk to some of these amazing artists and get an insight into their ministry and their love for teenagers … very inspiring!
     In addition to the music, festivals give you the opportunity for some great camping, lots of Christian merchandise, praise and worship events, awesome speakers and seminars, and the chance to spend a few days with people from all denominations and backgrounds - youth groups, families, couples and individuals.  If you are in the northeast US and are considering attending a Christian festival, you should find useful information here!
